Membership
Membership in LIHNPC is rooted in community, shared experience, and mutual respect—built not on dues, but on the time, presence, and spirit each person brings.
How to Become a Member
Eligibility
Membership is open to adults (18+) who:
- Support the group’s purpose
- Agree to follow its Code of Conduct
- Reside on Long Island in order to participate in the local community
- Respect and feel comfortable participating in a religious community that honors the Norse gods, spirits, and Heathen traditions
LIHNPC welcomes polytheists and multi-tradition practitioners. The Norse gods do not need to be a member’s only or primary spiritual focus; however, members must approach the traditions, rituals, and sacred practices of the community with sincerity, good faith, and respect. Parents are welcome to bring their children to gatherings and events, provided the environment remains safe and respectful for all participants.
